Identification Surveys

  • The primary purpose of an identification survey is to identify and report on the significant structures upon the land in the Certificate of Title forming the subject of a conveyance.
  • An identification survey checks compliance of affecting easements, covenants, restrictions and other potential defects on title. It also determines the relationship between improvements relative to the subject land boundaries.
  • Encroachments either by or upon the subject land are investigated and are included in the final report.
